Direct Current provides grants to support artists.  We primarily support musicians, however, other artists are free to apply for Direct Current grants.  Our grant funding can be used, for example, to supplement production costs for recording, mixing, and mastering of songs/albums, buying equipment necessary to complete an artistic project, etc.

We accept applications for grants at any time of the year.  Our board, together with a community representative, will review all applications twice per year, once in January and once in June.  Typically, four awards will be given each year.
